Born in Giza as one of five brothers, Ahmed Ibrahim Amir is a 26 year old Egyptian mixed martial artist with a professional record of 7-1. One of the few fighters to have amassed and maintained an unbeaten win streak in the talent-rich ranks of Bahrain-based MMA promotion Brave Combat Federation, Amir also boasts a one hundred percent fight-to-finish ratio.

Nicknamed “The Butcher”, Amir now resides in the State of Kuwait where he works as an MMA coach at Gold’s Gym. No stranger to overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds, Amir’s rise to prominence has been rapid. A favourite among fight fans the world over after pulling off upset victories over Richie Martinez and Kevin Koldobsky at Brave 1: The Beginning and Brave 4: Unstoppable respectively, Amir now has his sights set on becoming a dominant force on the biggest stages in the world.

“My dream is to be the UFC Lightweight Champion,” Amir has proclaimed, “I know I can continue to improve and become one of the best ever.”

“MMA to me is everything. It is like another member of my family alongside my wife and daughter, my mother and father. I have given everything to the sport, and will continue to do so until I reach the pinnacle of the sport.”
